Wombat's City Hostel in Munich truly surprised us during our family vacation. The vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay comfortable and inviting. The private curtains around each bed offered an excellent sense of privacy for my family, which was especially appreciated in the shared 8-bed dorm. The large lockers accommodated all our luggage, making it easy to feel settled. The cleanliness of the showers is commendable, although we did notice they could get a bit wet afterward. Luckily, the accessible layout of the bathrooms made this minor inconvenience manageable. One of our family highlights was the karaoke night! It was delightful to see everyone come together in such a fun way, and my kids loved joining in. Breakfast was quite satisfying, featuring good coffee and a variety of options. While the location offers plenty of nightlife, we did use public transport to explore Munich's historic sights, which added an adventure element to our trip. Wombat's provided us with a family-friendly experience that felt both engaging and practical.
